Chad Z. King is a visionary leader in the intersection of technology, media, and real estate. He graduated from California State University of Long Beach in 1996, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre & Film Production. With a unique blend of technical expertise and creative insight, Chad quickly became a key player in the digital media industry.
In 1998, Chad joined iPIX (Internet Pictures Corporation), where he played a pivotal role in pioneering the 360-degree imaging and video market in Southern California. Under his leadership, the region experienced unprecedented growth, achieving sales of up to $12 million annually between 1999 and 2001. Chad’s strategic vision and innovative approach were instrumental in developing prominent real estate brands such as Coldwell Banker, Century 21, and ERA. His influence extended further when he joined the senior leadership team at Homestore.com following the iPIX/Homestore.com merger.
In 2001, Chad was recruited by BeHere Technologies in Cupertino, CA, to serve as Vice President of Sales and Research. Here, he expanded the company’s TotalView One Shot 360 Technology into the realms of security, television, motion pictures, and military applications. His groundbreaking work led to the implementation of 360-degree video technology on the U.S.S. Cole and other submarine fleets, significantly enhancing military surveillance capabilities. Chad also made history by producing the first-ever 360-degree replay for live television during the 2001 NBA Finals and contributed to the 2002 Winter Olympics’ coverage for NBC Sports, as well as E! Online’s Red Carpet events.
In 2002, Chad founded A Bird’s Eye 360 Solutions, a media company that quickly became a leader in the Southern California real estate market. His passion for aerial photography propelled the company to new heights, as it began offering cutting-edge aerial video and still photography services using both R/C and full-sized helicopters. Over the past 13 years, Chad has established himself as one of the top camera operators and aerial cinematographers in the industry, contributing to numerous TV shows and motion pictures, including Fire with Fire, End of Watch, Escape Plan, The Frozen Ground, 2 Guns, Broken City, Lone Survivor, And So It Goes, The November Man, Submerged, and How to Make Love to an Englishman.
Chad’s expertise extends beyond the entertainment industry. As the founder of KING REAL ESTATE, he has traveled the world capturing high-end real estate projects, including the stunning 27-acre island in Savusavu, Fiji. His work has been featured in prestigious publications and media outlets such as VESTA HOME, Meridith Baer Home, the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, TMZ, Splash Media, Corbis, Architectural Digest, Conde Nast, and National Geographic. His photography has also been showcased on HGTV’s Selling LA and Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing.
In 2014, Chad expanded his creative repertoire by making his acting debut as a CIA Cleaner in the feature spy thriller The November Man, directed by Roger Donaldson and starring Pierce Brosnan.
